JULIA

Hi, I'm Julia, a devoted hand-poked tattoo artist based in Vista, California.

With years of experience perfecting my craft, I now create meaningful and personalized artwork for my clients. I understand what it's like to be curious about the possibility of creating permanent art yet have no clue where to start —that's where I was several years ago.

The industry of tattooing can be extremely intimidating; I felt confused and overwhelmed when I first began. Through my own process of trial and error, I figured things out and developed a unique approach that blends traditional methods with contemporary artistry.

I've created this course for those of you who are where I once was, to guide you through the process and help you find your own path in the world of hand-poked tattooing.

What you’ll learn

  • I’ll lay the foundation so you have an understanding of the roots of tattooing before you begin

  • I will detail every tool and supply needed to tattoo and even give my trade secrets away by sharing my favorite brands of ink, needles and more!

  • I’ll teach you how to properly design a tattoo and create a stencil AND I’ll teach you my step-by-step hand-poking techniques

  • This is an introductory course designed for someone who as no experience at all. It would also be great for someone who has started their journey with no direction and is looking for clarification + validation during their process.

  • I am confident that after you take this course you’ll be fully prepared to begin your journey of tattooing. Go at your own pace and take your time, there’s no rush :)

  • No but that doesn’t mean you won’t become one someday! This course is designed to safely equip you to begin your tattooing journey. How you continue from there is up to you!
